Abnormal foot biomechanics impact the entire body structure and contribute to back, hip, knee, and ankle pain, plantar fasciitis, shin splints, and more. Many athletes, especially runners, need orthotics to offset the severe mechanical forces encountered while pounding out miles of training and racing on the roads. And orthotics are not just for athletes. Many people who stand for long periods of time at work also benefit from the corrective support of foot orthotics. The custom, functionally corrective orthotics Dr. McCormick makes are from Foot Dynamics in Idaho. They are individually hand crafted and built to exact specifications.
