Chiropractic care plays an important role in your path to a healthier, more balanced lifestyle. Whether it is due to injury, stress, illness, or age, your musculoskeletal system is central to your general health. Dr. McCormick provides a hands-on, minds-on, holistic approach to healthcare that includes patient examination, diagnosis and treatment.  

 

With an emphasis on manual treatments including spinal adjustment and other joint and soft-tissue manipulation, Dr. McCormick's focus emphasizes the inherent recuperative power of the body to heal itself without the use of drugs or surgery.

EXPERIENCE

​Dr. McCormick has been in clinical practice since 1982. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Human Biology at Stanford University and his doctorate at the National College of Chiropractic.

 

In addition to general chiropractic medicine, Dr. McCormick specializes in sports injuries and osteoporosis. He is a member of the University of Massachusetts's Sports Medicine Department and the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research, 

Current publications by Dr. McCormick include Osteoporosis: Integrating Biomarkers and Other Diagnostic Correlates into the Management of Bone Fragility published in Alternative Medicine Review, June 2007, and The Whole-Body Approach to Osteoporosis, released by New Harbinger Publications in May 2009, and his new 2023 book Great Bones - Taking Control of Your Osteoporosis. He launched a new business – OsteoNaturals, LLC – in 2012 to promote nutrition products that can provide therapeutic levels of effective ingredients to target bone health.

Myotherapist

 

Mr. Andersen has been a practicing myotherapist for over 25 years. He studied under Bonnie Prudden, the famous physical fitness pioneer and founder of the manual therapy technique myotherapy. Bob uses trigger point therapy, deep tissue release techniques, and corrective exercises to increase musculoskeletal function and eliminate pain.  

Christine Purcell

Office Manager

 

Chris has been the office manager for over 20 years. She is the office expert for insurance billing but is also involved in scheduling patients, making sure the office runs smoothly, and running the day to day operations of OsteoNaturals. Chris is the guiding force behind our office and, even on tough days, continues to make everyone who walks into the office feel welcomed and confident that they are in the right place...one of true healing. 

Maggie Magrath

Office Assistant

 

Maggie has been with the office for over 5 years. She is our computer guru, numbers wiz, and problem solver. If something doesn't work in the office...Maggie can fix it. Maggie also helps out at the front desk, scheduling patients and answering questions.
